Kim is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and relocated to Florida in 2016 to attend Barry University where she received her Masters of Social Work. Prior to that she received her Bachelors degree in Social Work from Christopher Newport University in Virginia. Kim works as a Case Manager for the Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center. She previously was an intern on the Destination Hope Young Men’s program, and then worked as an adjunct therapist on the Destination Hope Women’s programs before becoming Case Manager. Kim feels that her experience working with the different programs has helped her better understand the populations as well as better help the clients that she works with.
