Suzanne Brafman is the co-founder and CFO of the Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center and has 24 years of experience working in the mental health and substance abuse field. She earned her Masters of Social Work at Florida International University in 1995. However, she does more than manage the finances at the Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center. She also counsels clients as couples or individually to help them re-create their relationships with family and friends in a healthy, new way in preparation for their newfound sobriety.
Suzanne specializes in thinking outside the box to help patients find innovative solutions that involve the entire family in the recovery process. She is committed to seeing all patients in their totality to better treat their addiction. She feels patients, especially women, are more likely to be open and honest in a group of their peers. This is why she is committed to a treatment environment that allows patients to openly discussion their issues and their history.
